Rust Admin F1 Keybind Reference

How to Apply & Save Keybinds

1. Open Console Press F1 in-game on your Rust client.

2. Paste & Execute Paste any bind <key> <command> and press Enter.

3. Persist Changes Run writecfg in F1 to save directly to keys.cfg.

4. Unbind Run bind <key> "" followed by writecfg.

Movement & Flight

4 binds

bind l noclip Toggle flying and passing through terrain and walls.
bind [leftshift+l] debugcamera Free-roam spectator camera (spectate suspected cheaters unseen).
bind [leftshift+m] teleport2marker Instantly teleport to your custom map waypoint marker.
bind k god Toggle god mode (invincibility against all damage).

Entity & Base Management

4 binds

bind delete "ent kill" Destroys whatever object or entity you are directly aiming at.
bind u "ent unlock" Instantly unlocks target code locks and key locks.
bind o "ent lock" Instantly locks the targeted door or lock.
bind i "ent who" Prints the SteamID and owner info of the entity in your crosshairs.

Visibility & Building Inspection

4 binds

bind [leftshift+delete] "layer.toggle Construction" Toggles player-built walls and foundations (see inside bases).
bind [leftshift+backspace] "layer.toggle Deployables" Toggles boxes, furnaces, workbenches, and traps visibility.
bind [leftshift+c] "weather.load clear" Instantly clears heavy fog, storm, and rain across the map.
bind [leftshift+t] "env.time 12" Instantly sets the world time to bright noon.

Moderation & Spectating

3 binds

bind [leftshift+r] respawn Force-respawns your character to exit spectator or stuck states.
bind f2 "chat.say /vanish" Toggle stealth / invisibility (requires uMod/Oxide Vanish).
bind f3 "chat.say /admin" Toggle admin GUI / menu (standard on modded servers).

Commands containing arguments with spaces must use double quotes: bind delete "ent kill"
Key combinations must use brackets: bind [leftshift+key] command
Always run writecfg in F1 after configuring keys so they persist when you restart Rust.
To reset a bound key to default or clear it: bind <key> ""
